At the end of each year, our team likes to extend our gratitude to the clients we worked with over the previous 12 months. We love coming up with unique and special gifts that showcase our team’s abilities and are as fun to receive as they are for us to make. Starting in January, we began brainstorming ideas and themes for the 2022 gifts. With our gifts, we try to create something that can be enjoyed by local and out-of-town clients, and utilized by more than one person if we have multiple contacts with one project. For the latest gifts, our team continually came back to the idea of highlighting some of our favorite places around El Paso. So we concluded it was time to ‘Explore 915.’
AN ILLUSTRATED GUIDE
As a team of current and former residents of El Paso, we had a hard time narrowing down our favorite places, restaurants, shops, scenic views, and photo ops. So we divided our list into sections of the city and chose a few hot spots to highlight in an illustrated guide. By no means is our guide comprehensive or exhaustive, but we loved getting to show off some of the parts of the city we love. The illustrated guide is a bright, fun booklet of sights, sounds, and flavors you can experience in El Paso. We launched a digital version at EXPLORE915.com to make sure anyone can check out the guide and start exploring.
A NEW CHALLENGE
The trivia cards we made for 2021 were such a hit we decided to follow it up with volume two. We created a whole new set of designs and questions. The volume two trivia categories included: Desert Myths, Music, Road Trip!, Spooky Spots, La Comida, and Advertised in El Paso. Our designers did a tremendous job creating custom illustrations to reflect the categories and pay homage to local icons.
AN UNBOXING EXPERIENCE
The final elements we created for our gifts were a sheet of stickers featuring the custom illustrations we designed on the trivia cards and a 915 pin. Small, but fun items to bring the whole gift together. A simple mailer wouldn’t do for such a whimsical and creative ensemble. So we designed a custom box for the perfect ‘desert delivery.’ Hand-delivered to local clients and sent through the mail to out-of-town clients, the pink and yellow boxes were attention-grabbing conversation starters.
