Project ARRIBA is a workforce training model that connects participants to the mentors, opportunities, and financial resources needed to complete their education and find employment in an in-demand career field. We first partnered with them in 2013 to work on their website. In 2023, they were ready for a refresh of the website design. They were also excited to utilize our content strategy and writing services to improve the user experience. As we started our project process, Project ARRIBA decided to update the branding for the organization to modernize their visuals ahead of their 25th anniversary. We created a new identity that is a thoughtful modernization of key elements from the original design, including the compass and blue and red colors, with the addition of regional features like the Franklin Mountains and ‘Sun City’ moniker.
Through our website content strategy, we simplified the description of the multi-step recruitment process, developed a format for sharing success stories, and included clear calls to action to encourage visitors to sign up for orientation or support the program. The updated design incorporated the new identity, images, and videos to create a more engaging user experience. And during programming, we integrated our custom content management system, which included a password-protected portal for staff members to access submitted application forms and data to simplify their intake process.
