For Good.

The El Paso Community Foundation is a large nonprofit organization that serves the El Paso, Southern New Mexico, and Ciudad Juárez region. Since its inception in 1977, EPCF has given nearly $250 million to the community. We’ve worked with EPCF for over a decade to create identities and websites for the various funds, community projects and events they manage. As a grant maker, convener and prominent leadership organization, EPCF was ready to update their website to reflect their role in the community and make it easier for visitors to find information about how to donate, start a fund or apply for a grant.

For El Paso.

The existing website had a dated design and was missing a lot of information about EPCF’s community leadership efforts and most recent funds and projects. We began the project by discussing what was still relevant on the old site and what information was missing. The new site navigation was developed to assist the different audiences - grantees, donors, partners - in finding information quickly and easily.

The design was created to emphasize details of EPCF’s philanthropy work and encourage visitors to learn more about ways to donate or use EPCF’s established framework to start their own charitable fund. The goal was to showcase EPCF in a more modern way with an editorial-style design that highlights current projects and seasonally-relevant funds.

The website programming involved integrating our custom content management system and the EPCF’s grants portal. The CMS gives EPCF the ability to quickly update announcements and other time-sensitive details, add new funds, and update staff members and contact information. The integration of the grants portal simplifies EPCF’s operations and gives website visitors a seamless website experience. Overall, the new website has allowed EPCF to better communicate their mission, showcase the magnitude of their work in the community and highlight their leadership and collaboration efforts to improve the El Paso region.
