As one of the more recent states to legalize marijuana for adults, New Mexico tallied over $300 million in adult-use marijuana sales in the first year from April 2022 to April 2023. Capitalizing on the market, FatStick began operations as a wholesale cannabis distributor. We worked with FatStick to develop the identity for their new brand as they build relationships with dispensaries and establish their own storefront in Sunland Park, New Mexico.
FatStick’s goal for the identity was to make it fun and funky. We utilized the requested colors of green and black and created a modern logo that’s eye-catching and uncomplicated. The new identity features an abstract icon of a star, representing both the cannabis leaf and the Star on the Franklin Mountains that cut through the region. In addition to the identity files, FatStick received a style guide with color formulas and proper use guidelines to help with the rollout of their new brand.
