In the 2016 Sun Bowl, Stanford defeated North Carolina. Prior to the game, Hello Amigo implemented a digital advertising campaign to raise awareness and drive ticket sales. The campaign resulted in 62 conversions, or people who purchased a ticket as a result of seeing an ad, for an impressive 189% return on investment for the Sun Bowl Association.
Hello Amigo ran a digital campaign in advance of the 2017 Sun Bowl. Even more successful than the 2016 campaign, there were 102 conversions resulting in an astounding 451% return on investment. As for the game, NC State solidly defeated Arizona State University by 21 points.
The Sun Bowl Association wanted a way to maintain fan engagement and awareness of the upcoming game so Hello Amigo created a pick ‘em challenge for fans to engage with the Sun Bowl on a weekly basis and enter to win tickets to the game. Each week, participants submit their picks for a list of upcoming games. Each week, the fan who most accurately predicted the outcomes receives a prize and is entered into a drawing for tickets to the Sun Bowl game.
